| This is the original TV series of the
spiderman cartoons. The stories are very comic book style and the
Nuclear/atomic threat storylines abound as with most of the cartoons of this
era. There was always a smattering of humour in these cartoons which helped the
totally unbelievable plot somewhat. I know of no other place of obtaining the original series cartoons other than buying these videocd's. |

Picture quality - well below average for a VCD - probably down to the quality of the original master copy. There were distinct video type horizontal scrolling lines appearing although infrequently. About as good as a rental video tape. | ||||||||
Sound: |
The sound quality was good - slight fogging probably again due to the quality of the master although understandable throughout. | ||||||||
Overall: |
In terms of quality this is not brilliant although is very watchable. It really does create anticipation for the new spiderman movie though and if you are a fan of the original series then this is the only way I know of to get a copy. Hurry while stocks last as there is a limited supply of the original spiderman cartoon series. | ||||||||
